From the birth of the child, parents take a good care of their kids. They are always bothered about the health of their kids. Ideally, summer is the best time to teach them all the healthy habits as they would spend most of the time with you. During summer, children feel bored of sitting at home for hours together, and they eventually get addicted to TV and video games to kill time. Ensure that they sleep for eight hours a day: Sleep is very important for all the people, especially kids. It helps them to wake up in the morning and take up the challenges and other works with high vigor. Good sleep will boost the metabolism rate and keep the mood calm and serene. A plethora of studies has proven that it is hard to make kids put to sleep. However, parents can tell their kids that by sleeping they grow well and healthy like their favorite Superman. This motivates kids to go to bed early and sleep well.

Embrace 80-20 food rule: It is impossible for the parents to control their children's food habits. Every child hankers to have ice creams, chocolates, and other junk food. It is not possible for parents to completely make their child eat healthy food. You need to spend 80 percent of time motivating them to eat healthy food and leave 20 percent to eat whatever they want like when they go for kid’s parties, picnics, or when you take them for an outing.

Educate them on what they get by eating healthy: Basically, kids do not understand when you just tell them not to eat junk food, when you say the benefits of eating healthy, they understand it clearly. In fact, this gets imprinted in their minds and allow them to follow the same every time. Also, you can tell them that eating certain food items make them grow taller, stronger and healthier. This will certainly compel them to consume health food. Healthy eating has to be taught by every parent to make their kids grow healthy and successful.

Encourage them to play: Today, many kids are sitting in front of computers and mobiles to play the game, thus lacking physical activities. This makes them grow dumb. To promote healthy bone grow and make their brain work sharper, parents need to encourage their children to go and play outdoors. This increase social interaction, reduce stress and keep all the health issues at bay. In fact, a few studies have proven that kids who are doing physical exercises are gaining flying score in the exams compared to the kids who just sit read and play in front of computers.
